| Bonita's
mission is:
1.
To show and share God's love and to do the blessed will
of her Father, through song.
2. To share herself by reaching and touching the broken
hearted, friendless, lonely and confused, homeless and sometime
forgotten loved one. To bring joy or a smile to everyone
she meets.
3. To be able to give service to one in their most heavies
hour in time of need and be able to comfort them in song,
and financially, if needed.
Her
mottos are: "Give Me My Flowers, While I Yet Live"
and "If I Can Help Somebody, As I Travel Along-Then
My Living Shall Not Be In Vain."
Bonita
was blessed to do her first album, "Introducing Bonita
C. Ruff," in 1991. The Lord blessed her to release
her second project, "Pure Gospel II," in October
2001. Ruff found herself back in the studio in 2002 - God
blessed her once again to share with the world her dynamic
voice, project 3, released June 2002 titled "Straight
From the Heart/Tribute to the Families, Victims, and Heroes
of September 11, 2001." This CD is universal. The message
is strong, but at the same time Bonita's dynamic voice soothes
and comforts the listener. Bonita plans to donate a portion
of her proceeds to non-profit organizations and charities.
Not
only can she sing, but she has written some moving, touching,
and inspirational songs, such as "Jesus Is Coming Soon,"
Praying In My Room," Smile, and "Why?" -
just to name a few. There is a powerful message in every
song she sings and write. Listening to her sing, one will
witness that she has been inspired by God.
Bonita sings traditional, inspirational, and urban gospel
with that anointed voice. But if you ask her what style
she sings, she will tell you "I sing pure gospel, straight
from the heart." Listen and tell me what you think:

Bonita
believes in enjoying life, "as long as you put God
first." She truly believes the Scripture when it says,
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew
6:33)
Throughout
her singing career, Bonita has held on to her mother's words
of wisdom:
(1) "Live the life that you sing about."
(2) "Know what and for whom you are singing."
(3) "Sing under the anointing power of the Almighty
God," and
(4) "Respect other gospel singers."
She
is a Hospice volunteer. She goes into Nursing Homes and
Care Facilities on a regularly basic. She also visits Women
Shelters and Prisons. When she goes into these places, she
don't go empty handed, she takes gifts, toys for tots, and
whatever is needed.
